Etta Ojong-Okongor is a multidisciplinary legal, governance and strategic advisory professional whose work sits at the intersection of law, regulation, governance, energy, sustainability, technology and institutional development. His professional journey has been shaped by a consistent interest in how organisations make decisions, respond to regulatory change, manage complex risk and translate policy and governance obligations into practical, measurable outcomes.

With experience and interests spanning legal and regulatory analysis, energy and environmental governance, water and sustainability, ESG, international development, professional education and emerging AI governance, Etta has developed an unusually integrated perspective on the challenges facing modern institutions.
His work combines rigorous legal reasoning with strategic foresight, evidence-based analysis and an ability to translate complex regulatory and governance issues into clear frameworks for boards, executives and decision-makers. It was this multidisciplinary experience that ultimately led him to establish Heritage Springs Group. Across different sectors, he repeatedly encountered the same underlying problem: organisations often possess policies, professional advisers and compliance structures, yet still struggle to connect law, regulation, risk, operations, technology, sustainability and strategy into a coherent system for making better decisions. Heritage Springs was created to bridge that gap.
